We purchase more than 100,000,000 pounds of steel per year and have three in-house steel mills that offer the advantage of design and production flexibility.

Our areas of expertise include

  • Roll Forming
  • Die Casting
  • Metal Stamping
  • Plastic Injection Molding
  • Plastic and Aluminum Extrusions
  • Component Integration

Plating

Accuride plates over 75,000,000 square feet of material per year and is the largest zinc plater in the world. We were the first slide manufacturer to use the electrocoating process on ball bearing slides, and have developed finishes that vigorously resist corrosion. Our in-house plating methods give us lower costs and a strong measure of quality control.

Quality Control

Accuride makes a science out of quality manufacturing. Over the years, we have developed highly efficient methods and techniques—all built around our commitment to quality. In fact, Accuride was the first U.S. based slide manufacturer awarded ISO 9001 certification. Today, all our production facilities have quality management systems registered to 9001:2008.

Accuride's Diez, Germany plant quality management system is certified to the ISO 14001 Environmental Standard. The Mexicali, Mexico plant quality management system has an established program that adheres to the ISO 14001 standards and policies. An internal team perform audits on a regular basis.

Our commitment to the automotive industry is evident with the UK and German plants quality management systems, both obtaining the ISO TS16949 certification
