The Compact And Concealed Aero Slide
Accuride International presents the Aero, a slide that offers exceptionally smooth and quiet movement in a durable and compact profile.
Santa Fe Springs, CA-Accuride International presents the Aero, a slide that offers exceptionally smooth and quiet movement in a durable and compact profile. Available with multiple options, this product gives manufacturers a host of flexible design solutions in appliances. The Aero is ideal for shelves, drawers, and baskets in refrigerators or freezers; under-counter refrigerator, microwave, or warming drawers; and other pull-out appliances.
Engineered to fit into tight spaces, the Aero’s compact profile has the sturdiness of a larger slide, yet it occupies just a small envelope of valued space. The robust cross section efficiently absorbs loads and resists vertical deflection, ensuring consistently smooth movement.
Fully concealed in installations, the Aero provides a clean appearance and provide safe operation without the concern of sharp edges or pinch points.
This product is available in ¾ or full extension. The ¾ extension has a tested load rating of 75 pounds in drawers up to 16" wide. The full extension model has a 100-pound load rating, accommodating drawers up to 24" wide.
This product may be ordered with a standard close; the popular Easy-Close with a soft, dampened close that prevents slamming; or Self-Close, which pulls drawers securely closed. All Aero slides feature cold-resistant FDA approved lubricant and a corrosion resistant coating.
Constructed to accommodate any number of mounting options, the Aero comes with a standard rear drawer attachment. The front attachment and hole patterns are customizable to client designs. The mounting surface of the cabinet member allows for flexibility in drawer structure and positioning.

The Woodworking and Architectural section is focused towards woodworkers who design and build wood cabinetry, casework, and furniture. It also includes helpful information specific to architects, designers, and specifiers. The Industrial and Electromechanical section reaches out to an extended range of industries with custom and off-the-shelf solutions for applications such as major appliances, automotive/vehicular, machinery, and electronic enclosures.
Visitors may download technical sheets, CAD files, literature, and reference charts to assist in product and accessory kit selection. Authorized distributors are easily located by ZIP/postal code or state/province.

New Touch Release Slides From Accuride
Accuride announces the introduction of models 3832 Touch Release and 3832 Heavy-Duty Touch Release.
Santa Fe Springs, CA-Accuride announces the introduction of models 3832 Touch Release and 3832 Heavy-Duty Touch Release. These slides hold drawers, shelves, or cargo trays in a closed position until activated by touch. A push on the front of the drawer releases and propels it open about 2 inches.
Model 3832TR is well suited to portable cabinets, toolboxes, or equipment carts in medical, institutional, or manufacturing environments. It requires about 11 pounds of force to activate the release. Model 3832HDTR has a more robust positive hold, requiring a force of about 17–19 pounds. It is designed for more demanding applications subjected to vibration such as those found in RVs, aircraft, fire and rescue vehicles, or watercraft.
The Touch Release products eliminate the need for drawer pulls, providing the aesthetics of simple, clean drawer fronts, while offering a safer solution in medical and industrial equipment or cabinetry. These slides carry loads up to 100 pounds and have a lever disconnect to remove drawers quickly and easily. A cam adjustment feature allows for precise vertical alignment of drawer fronts. Both models are available in even lengths 12 to 28 inches, with a choice of three finishes: clear zinc, black, and white.
